The first step is to record the table
manufacturer name and number, which may be
underneath your table top. If your table is one
of thousands of table patterns we have on file,
you do not need to take a pattern.
Tables come in many shapes and sizes. Before
you start measuring your table, you must
identify the "flat surface measurement" of your
table top. Table pads should rest on the flat
surface of the table. If they extend over the
unsupported beveled edge they will break down
with use.

Information
|
|
If your table looks like one of the
following illustrations, you will need a
pattern. The table pad will generally be in two
parts with separate pads
for each leaf or extension. You may choose to
use your table without extensions for everyday
use and may, when entertaining use one or two
extensions, depending on the size of your table
and your guest list. If your table has drop
leaves measure the width of each drop separate
from the center section. If your table is one
of thousands of table patterns we have on file,
you do not need to take a pattern.
